Solvent Recovery Systems

AMCEC solvent recovery systems with deep carbon beds provide up to 99% recovery and in some cases a one-year return on investment. Steam or inert gas regenerated systems are custom built in various sizes and metallurgy to suit clients' applications.

  • MICROBLOC skid units for Solvent Laden Air (SLA) volume from 300 to 3,000 scfm (standard cubic feet per minute).
  • MONOBLOC factory assembled units for SLA up to 40,000 scfm.
  • Custom multi-adsorber systems for SLA up to 1,000,000 scfm.
Hydrocarbon and VOC Removal Units

AMCEC units, regenerated with inert or process gas are well adapted to remove hydrocarbons or VOC's from natural gas or landfill gas at high pressure.

VOC Emission Control Systems - HYBRID

AMCEC HYBRID systems combine carbon or zeolite rotary bed concentrators (regenerated by hot air) with catalytic or thermal oxidizers. This is a cost effective solution to control dilute VOC emissions with removal efficiencies over 95%.

  • Modular concentrator units, factory assembled and tested up to 60,000 scfm capacity.
  • Field assembled concentrator units designed to process up to 1,000,000 scfm of VOC laden air.
Energy Saving Units - ECOVAP

AMCEC ECOVAP units are suitable for large solvent recovery systems and provide more than 40% steam savings year round with 2 to 4 years return on investment.

Solvent and Desorbate Treatment Systems

AMCEC offers separation and treatment processes based on steam stripping and distillation, chemical drying, air stripping and membrane separation. These allow recovery of complex solvents or VOC blends for reuse in clients' process.

Benzene Recovery Units (BRU)

AMCEC BRU's process utilizes closed loop nitrogen stripping to remove benzene and VOCs (BTEX) in refinery desalter effluents and other chemical plant industrial wastewaters.
